Katkuti Virtual Science Lab: Safe STEM Exploration for Children
An interactive lab for electricity, magnets, space, motion, matter, weather, water, and more for children ages 6–12.

A virtual lab built around questions and experiments
Katkuti Science Lab offers interactive missions for ages 6–12 across electricity, magnets, space, light, motion, living things, weather, water, matter, geology, machines, the human body, and sound.
A mission begins with a prediction. The child changes a variable or builds a model, records an observation, and answers a question. This connects an action to evidence rather than only watching an animation.
Benefits of structured scientific exploration
Children can compare two conditions—such as gentle and heavy rain or two ramp angles—and describe what changed. They also learn that a model is simplified and that a virtual result is not an exact real-world measurement.
The lab avoids real electrical wiring and hazardous materials, but it does not replace age-appropriate classroom experiments and adult supervision. It works well before or after a safe hands-on activity.
- Predict before experimenting.
- Change one factor in a comparison.
- Record what happened, not what you hoped would happen.
- Explain the model’s limits.
Useful across educational and community settings
Schools, educational institutes, and community centers use Katkuti through desktop access. Teachers and facilitators can select a topic, organize individual or pair work, and discuss predictions and observations with a group.
A child can continue a mission at home while family asks a simple question about the evidence or changed variable. The lab is not presented as a certified STEM curriculum or a guarantee of outcomes; it is an interactive tool for curiosity and discussion.

Begin with a topic the child cares about, choose the first available mission, and read the safety and model notes before experimenting.
