What is Block-Based Programming?

Block-based programming is a visual way to learn coding by dragging and dropping command "blocks", rather than typing complex text syntax.

Instead of worrying about a missing semicolon or a typo, children focus entirely on programming "logic". This method is used by global platforms like Scratch and Blockly. At Katkuti, we designed our own version to be simpler, more fun, and fully bilingual.

Advantages of Block-Based Coding

• Focus on logic: Kids learn "how to think", not "how to type".
• Fewer errors: Blocks snap together like puzzle pieces; if a command doesn't make sense, they won't fit!
• Visual reinforcement: Command types are color-coded (e.g. blue for movement, orange for loops), making them easy to remember.
